Virgin Hotel New Orleans

Tasked by Virgin Hotels to create a hospitality environment that spoke loudly to the irreverent and singular voice of the blooming hotel brand, while keeping an eye toward creating a destination that felt uniquely New Orleanian, proved easy with the shared ethos of both the brand and the city: relax and have fun! LKI leaned on our residential experience to carve out intimately scaled spaces full of comfortable and flexible arrangements, playful color, and unrestrained pattern mixing to create a vibe that is at once approachable, inspiring, and fun. 

The fourteen level, carefully conceived new build comprises 238 guest chambers, two penthouse suites, multiple dining and drinking outlets, a fitness center, and several flexible indoor/outdoor meeting and event spaces. Each area maintains a distinct and wild personality, yet blends together seamlessly through thoughtful programming and repetition of color and architectural design elements.
