Taking inspiration from nature, contemporary and historical artists and designers, and our intuition, every project is a unique exploration that creates its own language. Logan Killen Interiors is comfortable working in a myriad of styles and genuinely believes that all genres of interior design can be done well. LKI finds true joy in the design process.

Looking to the Past, Sense of Place, and Being a Good Listener

We often work with historic structures, and consideration of a building’s architecture, location, and era always inform our work. Educating ourselves about a building’s history is as important as learning about our clients, their past, and how they want to build their lives.

As a studio that specializes in residential and boutique hospitality design, understanding the community in which a project is rooted has become a natural extension of our design process. Our studio firmly believes that good design can change the way one interacts day to day with our surroundings, family and friends, and ultimately ourselves.

Intuitive & Approachable

Creative spaces inspire memorable experiences connected to all of the senses. The team at LKI believes interiors should be approachable, comfortable, and intuitive, with singular environments arising from in-depth collaboration with clients. Making people feel at home is what we do best.

Artful Layers

At LKI, we often mix antiques with vintage and contemporary furnishings, carefully selected to create a livable, elevated, and holistic story. Thoughtful layering of lighting, art, and accessories are an essential finishing touch for creating a feeling of home and our speciality of highly considered spaces that appear untouched by a designer.

Conscientious

We believe that we can all do better. Respecting each other and our planet should be a natural part of our day to day lives. Unfortunately the interior design and construction industry has a long way to go in its efforts, especially in its production of waste and use of toxic materials. LKI has its eyes open and strives to reduce our internal waste, specify products that reuse materials or are produced ethically, and speaks loudly to all that will listen about the gross waste seen in our industry. Logan Killen Interiors also strives to increase diversity within interior design through outreach, internships, and donations.
