Riverside Victorian Cottage

Built in 1894, this side hall Victorian had been newly renovated when LKI was enlisted to select wall finishes, lighting, and furnishings. An all white palette was fresh, but lacked the personality our clients craved. By introducing unique color combinations and statement furnishings, the spaces transformed into a family home meant to entertain.

Moody greens and earthy pinks were layered to create a cozy but refined living room. In the dining room, ethereal pale blue walls are paired with ochre and rich antique woods. A crisp light blue sofa, custom made to fit the cottage bay window grounds the family room along with the most perfect apricot velvet drapes. The small primary bedroom finds its importance with earthy mauve walls paired unexpectedly with a striking cornflower blue upholstered bed and rust wool sateen drapes.
